Cus..well Money doesn't grow on trees!

And the economy sucks and all that good stuff I decided I am going to do a DIY shoot sack. Ive been researching all morning and well.. I just don't want to spend almost 200 dollars on a bag that I might not even like(this isn't bashing any bags out there).

But in all honesty... I don't have the cash flow like other photographers and well since I only know a few..they don't get that many freebies from other photogs or companies.

Plus I own a sewing machine and I know the basics on it. So why not? Right.

So I figured out that I need a neoprene material type of bag to hold my stuff and cushion my lenses. So I found that a lot of photogs out there are just getting laptop bags made of neoprene and creating their own interpretation of "a shoot sac" Now.. I want one with adjustable straps because I am small(meaning short). I can pretty much buy everything at Walmart and my ballpark estimate of how much my bag would cost me is $30 bucks.

Most Laptop bags come with zippers so I have to get around that but I already have an idea from when I took a sewing class in high school. If I need help... I know my mother would help me because she is a wiz at sewing.

So there you go... wish me luck on my new adventure and I will post pics during this whole process..but first. Let me go get everything I need. I wish I would have thought about this during the Halloween season because I would have loved the material at that time. But then again...God knows why I barely thought about it.

How would it look if I went to shoot a wedding in a bag covered in SKULLS! lol... I know I am rather weird and a tad eccentric, but I am going to find something that matches the beautiful strap covers that my mentor/friend Cynthia had given to me this past birthday of mine. So...what I am looking for is polka dots in white and red...or damask in hot pink and black.

As of photography...

I took a couple of beautiful photos of my wedding ring last night along with my husbands band. Yes the light I took them in was very poor. Oh and the one I took this morning was way better :)but its only of my ring because the husband had to go to work....

This is ours together last night....

This is mine alone this morning....
